Visiting One Another
If you have the gifts of mercy, helps or encouragement, we are seeking you to join our team of people in visiting nursing homes. Contact Bob Doran at 630.730.7214 for more information.
Children's Ministries
Jesus Kids
- There are many opportunities to serve, have fun and invest in the life of our children @ Grace Pointe Naperville. For more detail and information call Lin Mattern at 630-637-2060 or to talk about possibilities.
Nursery
- There's a need for some loving people to serve in the infant and toddler nurseries during the Gathering the first Sunday evening of each month.
- We need a few volunteers to help with our sweet babies in our nursery once every 5-6 weeks for one service on Sunday mornings.

Hugs to Give
- Our cuddly little three-year-olds need teachers at 8:15am and 11:00am once-a-month on Sunday. Contact Lin Mattern at 630.637.2060 or ; Bonus: lots of hugs!
The Bridge
The philosophy is to help students make the transition from 6th grade into Jr. High. These are tough years and and the bridge provides a nurturing atmosphere to enable kids to make this transition with integrity and ease.
Here's how you as a parent can be involved:
- You are always welcome to sit in on classes.
- Offer to drive for activites.
- Join in the activities.
- Call leadership with matters of concern and of celebration.
- Form a parent's prayer team
- Share with us your constructive suggestions.

Connecting Ministry
Connecting Ministries is many times the first contact many people have with Grace Pointe. If you love people and get excited about helping people get connected Connecting Ministries is for you!! Below is a list of areas to serve:
USHERS
This ministry is an essential part of church life. These "Levites" welcome and seat people in the sanctuary. They maintain the order of the service in addition to assisting the Pastor with the time of prayer, collection of the offering and sometimes communion. Although appearing simple, ushering serves the important functions of making people feel welcome and comfortable.
GREETERS
Greeters are located at the church's main entrance to welcome all who enter. They represent Grace Pointe to the visitor. Much like Ushers, the Greeter's function is to welcome people with a warm smile and handshake as they enter at Grace Pointe to worship.
INFORMATION CENTER
This area is the "heart" and often, "safe haven" of the church for visitors. After the Greeters, this is the first 'people contact' visitors have when they enter the church. The Information Center links both visitors and existing congregation members to information, directions and answers to questions. Our recently added Visitor Table allows some of our leadership to meet with visitors and welcome them on the journey.
These three ministries are staffed at all services including 15 minutes before the scheduled service starting times at 8:15am, 9:30am, and 11:00am at the Naperville Campus.

The Gathering
Each month communion is served at the Gathering (6pm) and we need people to prepare and serve the elements. This is a great opportunity for small groups and/or families to serve. Contact Melissa at 630.637.2244 to help.
Global Ministries

Creative & Media Arts
Sound Board Operators
Volunteers are needed to operate the sound board for rehearsals, services, and special events. There are many other A/V areas to also service, contact Steve Hall at 630-637-2064 or to help or for more information.
ProPresenter
There is an immediate need for volunteers to run the ProPresenter program which displays the words to songs & sermon notes during the Sunday morning services. No experience needed; we will train.If you feel you can assist or have additional questions, contact Linda Doran at 630.637.2061
Web/Content Developers
As Grace Pointe grows, so does the demand for our presence and communication on the internet. We are currently developing a new site that will be much more interactive than ever before. We are looking for a team of people to assist in the development of this project
Writers/Editors
Grace Pointe is currently developing a new newsletter, website and other marketing materials. We are looking for people with experience in writing and copy editing to help us in the creation of these publications. We need our communication materials to be current and very relevant to our community; this is why we need your help
Graphic Designers
We are looking for creative people with experience in graphic design for print and web based applications to assist Grace Pointe with our new web site and subsequent marketing materials
